BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW ON WHAT DAY YOUR LORD
IS COMING, KEEP SPIRITUALLY AWAKE THAT YOU MAY
KNOW THE WATCH OF HIS COMING. (From Matt 24:42-45).
"…and
they
(1) will
be given into his hand for a time,
and times and half a time." (Daniel 7:25 NWT).
"…for three years and
half a year the saints shall
be handed over to him."
(Daniel 7:25 Moffatt).
WHY, HOW, AND BY WHOM?
The important expressions in the
above scriptures are the words "be given" and
"handed over"
to satan. "They"(1) are all the holy ones (saints) and their spiritual work. Holy ones (with the
Spirit of God) could only be given into satan's hand by Jehovah Himself (as in
the example that all kingdoms and rulerships under heaven shall be
given
to the holy ones of the Supreme One. Dan 7:27). For these holy ones to
"be given" or "handed over" means that satan is given
authority over them for the stated 3˝ year period. As the associated
longer period of 2,300 evenings and mornings ends at the same time, this final
rebellion and apostasy of JWs had already begun before the 3˝ years of
"trampling". (8:13,14 & 11:39). But why has Almighty God decided to
allow this spiritual desolation to continue? The answer given is in Daniel
12:10 and 11:32-35. But when this "refining work" is
completed, the apostate "disgusting things" standing in a holy
place and acting as priests,
'older men'
or
'elders'
in the spiritual "land" of God will be exterminated. (9:27). Anointed
holy ones of God refusing to apostatize themselves with these unsealed
'elders'
(or "arms". 11:31) have been removed. Despite this
"trampling" of them during the 2,300 evenings and mornings, only
faithful anointed holy ones are elders and underpriests of God. (8:13,14).
These holy ones fear God, not men, and so are not led into apostasy by means of
smooth words. (11:32).
Those employed by satan to act wickedly against
the holy covenant and awakened to their apostasy before God, will be an
abhorrence before Him. (11:31 & 12:2).
As anointed members of the Kingdom of God are spiritually tested as to fitness
while "handed over" to unsealed
'elders'
acting in their place, these
'elders'
are not only made manifest by the satanic positions of authority they hold in
Christ's congregations, but also by the way they have treated Jesus' anointed
brothers and colluded in attempts to change the "times and Law" of
God. (7:25). (Matt 25:45,46. Rev 3:9)
(Rom 2:28,29. See Pages 777-854 of the "Little Scroll" for
irrefutable evidence). Their apostasy, and the evidence that follows, rules out
the League or United Nations as the "disgusting thing"
"standing in a holy place" as claimed by the sect falsely calling
themselves Jehovah's Witnesses.
The League or United Nations has been in power
for 50 years, not 3˝ years. There is no evidence of their ever having
removed the "constant feature" (Holy Spirit). And although the
United Nations organization is rebellious against God, it has not attempted to
change the "times and Law" of God. (7:25). But there is
ample evidence of apostate covenant-leavers and their followers causing such
desolation: "And upon the wing of disgusting things there will be the one
causing desolation; and until an extermination, the very thing decided upon
will go pouring out also upon the one lying desolate." (2)
(9:27). The very thing decided upon is the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement
poured out upon all members of the "disgusting thing" "until an
extermination".
