RAISING UP THIS "PROVERBIAL SAYING".

"And it must occur in the day when Jehovah gives you rest from your pain and from your agitation and from the hard slavery in which you were made a slave, that you must raise up this proverbial saying against the king of Babylon and say: "How has the one driving others to work come to stop, the oppression come to a stop! Jehovah has broken the rod of the wicked ones, the staff of the ruling ones, the one striking peoples in fury with a stroke incessantly, the one subduing nations in sheer anger with a persecution without restraint. The whole earth has come to rest, has become free of disturbance. People have become cheerful with joyful cries. Even the juniper trees have also rejoiced at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, 'Ever since you have lain down, no woodcutter comes up against us.' Even She'ol underneath has become agitated at you in order to meet you on coming in. At you it has awakened those impotent in death, all the goatlike leaders of the earth. It has made all the kings of the nations get up from their thrones. All of them speak up and say to you, 'Have you yourself also been made weak like us? Is it to us that you have been made comparable?'"  (Isaiah 14:3-10).

There are many individuals who are directly involved in "driving others to work" and that can easily be identified. But  identifying the signs leading up to the end of their tyrannical rule requires closer scrutiny     particularly since this oppressive "staff * of the ruling ones" is about to be broken by Jehovah.

We know that the previous seven world powers had dispositions that make up today's "eighth king"     the world empire of political government and "image of the wild beast" that satan the dragon #  has given all his authority to.  (Rev 13:4 & 11-15.  17:11).

In the UK the authority "driving others to work" is the Department of Employment. Its bureaucrats do no beneficial productive work, nor do thousands of its subordinate staff.*  Doing productive work themselves has never been their goal. They are employed to introduce harmful regulations and wasteful schemes for "driving others to work" and to dispose of billions of pounds of tax-payer's money while ensconced in expensive offices at vast public expense to squander precious national resources.  (Isaiah 10:1-4).

Because of the source # of their power, it is not difficult to understand why they have not created any agencies for the just distribution of wealth to disadvantaged persons from the resources created by the nation.  (Rev 13:16,17).

A few years ago, an unemployed person who had not the advantage of an inheritance of land, money, or other means to keep himself and his family, was refused financial assistance unless he first consented to be driven to any kind of work that State bureaucrats chose, and while under the threat of enforced deprivation if he refused.

But the tyrannical "staff of the ruling ones" will be broken by Jehovah. And as people discover the devious ways by which those "driving others to work" are manipulating and depriving them, they engage in demonstrations against the "ruling ones". Along with "goatlike leaders" who have died and are in torments, "kings of the nations" shall speak up and say to satan: 'Have you yourself also been made weak like us? Is it to us that you have been made comparable?'"  (Isaiah 14:10).
