HOW WILL THE OUTPOURING OF THE
SPIRIT OF GOD AFFECT MANKIND?
BEFORE "THAT DAY" ARRIVES:
"SUMMON ALL THAT LIVE IN THE LAND". (Joel 1:14 NEB).
"When that time
comes, on that day when I
reverse the fortunes of
Judah
and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations together and
lead them down to the Valley of the Lord's Judgement and there bring them to
Judgement on behalf of Israel, My own possession; for they have
scattered My people throughout their own countries, have taken each
their portion of My land".
(Joel 3:1,2 NEB).

Two events are prophesied to take
place among the peoples of the world, with the greatest changes ever known to
mankind: |

(1) |
A
reversal of the oppressive worldly control over the lives of
beloved people of God, their wellbeing, and their fortunes. No more will they
suffer reproach for faithfully upholding the Name of God, or bear reproach for
the sins of apostates. (Zeph 3:18-20. Isaiah 66:5). Nor will they be made to
feel humiliated by Godless unbelievers. Such humiliation will be replaced with
Spirit joy through the "new wine and oil". (2:23 29 NEB).
They will be recompensed for the years of the "locust" and the
bitter work of the "Little Scroll". "Judah" are the sons
and daughters of faithful anointed sons of God of the spiritual tribe of
"Judah" and of the "new covenant" by His Christ. These sons and
daughters are therefore under the authority of the heavenly anointed government
of God, the "Jerusalem" above. They are His "scattered"
ones among all the nations. (Gal 4:26) (Heb 12:22 24) (Isaiah 43:5 7 NEB). |

"On that day",
when Jehovah reverses the fortunes of "Judah" and
"Jerusalem", He will also pour out His Spirit upon the millions of
people of every nation effectively gathered against Him through their rebellious
spirit aspect before God. (2:28 NEB).
Every one gathered to the "Valley of Decision" is there because of
the level of their spirit rebellion against Him, where their spirit is judged.
(3:13 16 NEB).
This is evidently so after their consistent rebellion against His judicial
decision to sacrifice designated nations to deliver His beloved people out of
the nations. (See Isaiah 43:3 7). |
Millions of people in the continent
of Africa will continue to suffer drought, famine, plague, war and death, until
nations of the world relinquish their control over His beloved people worldwide
and stop lending their aid in an attempt to thwart judicial decisions of God. (3:11,12).
"Egypt" and "Edom" are destined to suffer the same fate. (3:19)
(Isaiah 19:1 22 & 34:4 10).
Faithful anointed sons of God are
His priests and "spokesmen". (1:13. Jer 15:19
NEB).
They are the ones who have
spiritual insight and impart understanding to the many. (Dan 12:3). As for
political leaders of this world, while they claim to have insight and try to act
as luminaries to the nations, they make the "darkness" darker still ! (3:15)
