DANIEL 11:37-39: None of the false gods of the past are considered effective enough to achieve satan's ambition, that "he" be exalted over every god, even above Jehovah God Himself. To the god of women (Tammuz) satan gives no consideration. "But his majesty shall honour the god of fortresses and another god (whom his fathers never knew)." (11:37 Moffatt). Who is this previously unknown god whom he honours alongside military strongholds the "god of fortresses"? This "foreign god" are those he has led into apostasy, those who have acted wickedly and effectively against the holy covenant of God. The covenant to be successfully concluded is for anointed sons of God to form a heavenly Kingdom. (Rev 5:9,10). This heavenly Kingdom will begin its Rule by removing satan's evil subjects. The "desirable things" are the "rule" and "glory" satan bestows upon members of his "foreign god" for working effectively on his behalf within the spiritual "land" of God. The price these members pay for the "glory" they receive is the disgrace of having corrupted themselves* before Almighty God and in having betrayed anointed sons of God by claiming that they* are "Jews" when in fact they* are lying. (Rev 3:9). They*
are all those acting as priests ('elders')
without authority through an anointing from God to do so, and those called but
not chosen for having abused their authority and turned to apostasy. It is
through them that satan has been able to act
effectively, for "the most fortified strongholds" are not
military, but are The Christ's anointed brothers (11:39-43): Evidence of satanic dominance through military force is being expressed through dictatorship ("the king of the North"). Totalitarian governments permit no rivalry or divided loyalties. But the "king of the South" governs by demoncracy, the will of the people. Both these "kings" have engaged in "a pushing" for some time, prior to the storm-like "flooding over" into lands that is prophesied to follow. If this storm were solely of a military kind, the might of these great powers in a world war could destroy all life on earth! Pressure has been brought to bear on many lands by this northern "king" in an attempt to suppress the people and deny access to the Kingdom of God and of Christ by the threat of military force and/or economic sanctions. Of greater importance is the spirit warfare taking place at the same time. But how will "he" satan "enter into the land of the Decoration"? (11:41). The inhabitants of this "land" are anointed spiritual "Jews", and the "land" is spiritual "Israel", "a nation producing its fruits". (Matt 21:43). Through satan's subjects "he" enters this "land". Their methods?
All these activities were intended to "kill" their faith and were carried out by unsealed "Ahab" 'elders' and their "Jezebel" wives (false prophetesses) within JW congregations of "Babylon" against anointed sons of God. (Rev 11:9,10. 1 Kings 21:15. Rev 2:20-23. 3:9. 17:5,6). Many in the "land" have already spiritually committed "adultery" with "Jezebel" women through accepting their apostate teachings, and are now defiled with them. (Rev 2:20-23. 14:4). These "children" of "Ahab" and "Jezebel" are the "many" that did "join themselves to them by means of smoothness" ("false pretences". 11:34 Moffatt). "Ahab" members of the "foreign god" entered the "land" and gave satan "recognition" in return for the "glory" of becoming 'elders' and ruling among many, receiving "ground" from satan in the "land" "for a price". (V.39). The "price"? (Read Daniel 12:2). So the JW claim that destroying printing presses or literature of JWs is not an incidence of entering the spiritual "land of decoration", nor is their claim that the "king of the North" sent communists among them as though they were of God's "sanctuary" class.
